Why do I like it?
This is one of those recipes that really helps those of us who don’t eat dairy to enjoy cheese! There is a wonderful texture, tanginess and mouth feel to this dish. Every time I have made it, people just love it.
You can really get creative with toppings and add-ins to make it suit your taste.
Any recipe notes or tweaks?
Yes! Minimalist Baker suggests that you taste and adjust seasonings, so here’s what I ended up changing:
I opted out of the fresh, raw garlic, pimento peppers and cayenne to accommodate the tastes of my family members. I used 5 tablespoons of nutritional yeast. Doubled the salt to 1 teaspoon. Used regular paprika instead of smoked and doubled the amount. I have typed up the ingredient list with my revision if desired - see below!
